My best friend loves fixing HVAC units.

It all started a few years ago when his mom’s window air conditioner stopped working.

He wanted to help out his mom since his dad had passed away a few years before. He determined to fix her window air conditioner without making her pay a dime for it. He brought the window air conditioner over to my house and asked me if I had any HVAC experience or could at least help him figure out what was wrong with the air conditioner. I had no idea how to fix anything on an air conditioner, but I decided I would do my best to help him. We took the air conditioner apart, and I hardly even said or did anything. Fixing the air conditioner seemed to come so naturally to my friend and he figured out what the problem was with the air conditioner and fixed it quickly. After that he fell in love with fixing all things HVAC. he didn’t just stop with that air conditioner, the next week he fixed his grandma’s furnace system, and then he came over and fixed our central air conditioner for no charge. He quickly figured out that he had a passion for HVAC mechanics, and decided to go to a local college for an HVAC degree. Although he didn’t like the type of work he did in college, my friend did really well and graduated with straight A’s. he quickly got a job at a local heating and cooling business and was very successful. You never know what you might love doing until you put your mind to it.
