We really need to find better dental care for the family
The dentist’s office that we have been going to is really not all that great.
They are terrible at scheduling, and they are always canceling appointments that we have made months in advance.
I don’t really know what is going on with them, but it seems like they cannot keep dentists on the payroll at this particular practice. Unfortunately for us, it’s one of the only dentist offices near me that accepts our insurance. Once when I went in to have some work done on a chipped tooth, they kept me waiting in the waiting room for almost 2 hours. Then by the time I went back into the office, the dentist had gone home for the day! I had to see the dental hygienist, and all she could do was clean my teeth. She could not really help me at all with my chipped tooth, which was why I was there to begin with. By the time I left that day, I was so mad that I was ready to go somewhere else. I don’t really know what to do about this problem, though, because of our dumb insurance. I am pretty sure that my two youngest kids probably each have a cavity, and my older daughter wants to talk to someone about getting Invisalign braces put on her teeth. I just don’t think anyone at the dentist office that we have been going to is going to be able to help us with any of that. If they do handle it, I don’t know how great it would be. I’m just going to have to look up family dental care and find someone even if we have to drive really far.
