I fell through the soft place on the roof
Winter time storms in this area bring a lot of rain! The temperatures are never chilly enough to have snow, but all of us have afternoons in addition to afternoons of rain when the higher elevations have snow; We had several afternoons in a row of rain in addition to I observed a spot in the study room where the roof was leaking. We have a one level apartment in addition to the area above the study room has a truly rudimentary roof, and as soon as I observed there was a leak, I was distraught! I could not get up on the roof to secure the spot in the middle of the night. It was dark in addition to wet in addition to not truly safe. I waited until the next morning when the rain slowed down. I grabbed a ladder from the garage in addition to localed it next to the area where the roof injure should have been… My wife came outside to rest next to the ladder to make sure that it did not transfer anywhere while I was climbing. It was slippery in addition to I did not want to fall in addition to get hurt. I should have thought more about the roof, because I ended up falling through the soft spot in addition to I got hurt anyway. As soon as I stepped onto the roof, my foot went through. I fell right through the soft spot in addition to landed in the study room on a pile of rubble. There was a huge hole in the ceiling in addition to I had to call a roofing business fast. I didn’t have a tarp or any of the materials to secure the area in addition to all of us were expecting rain the truly next morning.
