I Don’t Know Why our Smart Thermostat Keeps Changing Temps
I cannot for the life of me figure out why our thermostat keeps changing the temperature all on its own.
At first, I started thinking that there was something wrong with the air conditioner unit, although I knew that that should not be the case.
The heating and A/C company had only installed the air conditioner machine in our house a few weeks before, so I didn’t think that there was actually any way that it would be torn up already. However, that’s what I started thinking when the thermostat kept messing up. One hour, the digital readout said that it was 65 degrees in the house, and the next hour it was 73 degrees. I don’t know about you, but thermostats just shouldn’t do that on a regular basis. Anyway, when I saw that the temperature on the thermostat kept changing so fast, I knew that it must have something to do with the thermostat itself and not with the air conditioner unit. However, I have never fixed a thermostat by myself before. Honestly, besides changing the batteries in the thermostat, I have never been able to service anything at all around the house when it comes to our heating and cooling system. I do not like having to admit it, however I’m going to have to call a professional heating and A/C company to come and service the thermostat for me. I was blaming my hubby for changing the thermostat settings, however he would never admit to doing it. It turned out that he wasn’t actually the one doing it after all, it was that the thermostat was just messed up.
