I was looking for a roof repair contractor
I didn’t realize there was a soft spot on the roof until I was standing on the roof trying to put up some Christmas lights.
I put my foot right through the roof and nearly fell down into the Rose Garden below. I took a tarp up to the roof and secured it with some bungee cords so no rain would get into the spot where my foot went through the roof. I looked for a roof repair contractor near me, but I didn’t really like any of the results that I found. The contractors didn’t seem to have a big business and I wanted to make sure that I found someone that was licensed, insured, and bonded. I spoke with a couple of my friends and coworkers and I got a couple of names of contractors that were in the city. I hope that one of those roofing experts would be willing to come to the country to give me an estimate for the repair. I made a couple of phone calls and I found a few contractors that were willing to drive the 30 miles out to my home. I chose one of those roofing contractors to complete the work. There were actually two other spots in the same area that were soft and the repair turned out to be twice as big as I expected. The residential roofing contractor still made sure that I was happy with the price when he was done with all of the work. The contractor also guaranteed the work for 5 years and I didn’t expect to get that type of warranty.
