Not happy with this major influx of gym members

Most of these modern members are gone by the end of January

I have been a member of the local fitness center since the facility’s grand opening almost ten years back. Although the membership fees always increase, I am willing to pay for improvements. This gym continues to make nice upgrades in their amenities plus machines. I have access to tanning beds, massage therapy sessions, personal trainers plus a nutritionist. I can sign up for group fitness classes such as yoga, spin, HIIT, crossfit, interval training, boot camp plus more. There are strength training machines which target unique muscles in the arms, shoulders, back plus legs. I can use kettlebells, weighted poles, free weights, medicine balls or battle ropes. For calorie burning, I have my choice of a wide variety of stair climbers, treadmills, stationary bikes, stair-climbers, ellipticals plus rowing machines. There is even a spacious indoor running track, speed bags, heavy bags plus a room with a miniature rock-climbing wall. For the majority of the year, I am totally happy with this gym. Every January, the gym advertises a sizable discount on membership to lure in other purchasers. There is an influx of members in January. Most of these people are not dedicated to improving physical fitness. They have made a New Year’s resolution that they won’t keep. They make it more taxing to find an available locker room. I need to wait for an empty shower stall. They tend to neglect to clean down the unit when they are done with it. Many of the workout machines are occupied plus often being used improperly. Most of these modern members are gone by the end of January. It is a relief when the gym is back to just the regulars who are more extreme about their workouts.
