She usually goes by the temperature that is on the thermometer
Libby’s son wants her to take him to the zoo as soon as possible, but she is sure that it’s going to be too cold.
Even though the weather seems to finally be heating up a little bit, Libby still doesn’t feel that it is going to be hot enough this week to go.
They have a zoo membership and so they can go at any time of the year. Her son has been waiting and waiting to go though because Libby does not want to go in the cold. The temperatures here have still been in the 20s, even though it is technically Springtime. She does not really ever go by the calendar, though. Libby usually goes by the temperature that is on the thermometer outside. She knows that it’s really going to be some degrees colder at the zoo than it is here, because it’s so close to the lake than they are at home. Anyway, her son begs her every day to take him to the zoo because he is just obsessed with the lions for some reason. The lions are particularly his number one and the child is convinced that he needs to go and visit them or they are going to forget who he is. Libby told him that lions never forget, and so they will not have an issue if they wait a couple of more weeks to go down there and visit them. He really just wants to go though. Libby feels kind of sorry for him so she supposes she is gonna go. She hopes that it’s not too frosty though. They do have indoor exhibits with heating, so maybe we will just spend most of their time in those. Libby will just have to wait and see. Hopefully, the temperature will start heating up in the next day or two.
