Ensure the warranty please
Because I didn’t learn the warranty, I didn’t know that me trying to work on it would void our protection
When I was a kid, I was the first one awake on Christmas morning; That is if I entirely even slept, but perhaps there was some dozing but I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated anything the way I did Christmas morning… Before dawn, I’d sneak downstairs & do something that I wasn’t supposed to do, but i’d push the control equipment up a bit so the gas heating system would kick on & hot the house up, however dad was a stickler about making sure that he turned down the control equipment much lower while my buddy and I slept in our hot beds. But like clockwork, the gas heating system running would consistently get my dad up on Christmas morning; Well, I would tear into my presents like there was no tomorrow, but of course, I never learn a single direction or saved a single warranty. And unluckyly, that habit stayed with me into my adult life. But now that I have voided the warranty on the Heating & A/C equipment that is only 7 years old, I’ll be learning every word of every warranty going forward; Yea, I made an egregious error with my heat pump that ended up costing me the rest of the warranty from the Heating & A/C factory. Because I didn’t learn the warranty, I didn’t know that me trying to work on it would void our protection. But it was clearly stated & there just wasn’t any disputing it, however so not only did I have to write a check to Heating & A/C professional who corrected the original problem & the harm I did, it cost me years of warranty as well. That is a strenuous & terribly high-priced lesson to learn, however now, I’m going to have to be sure that I never miss an Heating & A/C service appointment again.
