I can’t tell you how many times I had to wait for a repairman, only to have him show up hours late and be out of the condo within fifteen minutes. It is one of the most frustrating things I have gone through. I can handle when my family has hiccups, but I can’t handle this kind of incompetency. My air conditioning was experiencing a few hiccups, and I called the heating, ventilation and A/C supplier. I told them what was happening, and asked how long it would take to repair the air conditioner, and she told me I would need to talk to the heating, ventilation and A/C specialist when she got there. I simply asked to talk to a tech before I hung up, but she said there were none available. I would need to wait for the specialist to arrive, and then she would inspect the A/C equipment and tell me how long it was going to take to make the repair. I heard nuthin’ but she would get here when she got there, and she would take as long as she wanted to make the repair. She gave me time of arrival and made me aware of the window of arrival. Two hours after the arrival time, I was still waiting for the residential heating, ventilation and A/C specialist. When she got there, it didn’t take long for him to tell me I needed a modern fan motor. I asked how long it would take to make the repair? When she said it all depended on if they had a fan motor for my air conditioning, or needed to order it, I got frustrated. I told the lady I talked to that I thought I needed a fan motor, and yet she didn’t tell this to the heating, ventilation and A/C specialist.
