The second opinion from another licensed Heating and A/C provider confirmed this for him

There is a famous idiom that goes, “if it’s not broken, don’t repair it.” It basically means to leave things alone.

Lenny has always lived by this throughout his life, and it has saved him so much money over the years.

When it comes to money, you can call him cheap, and he won’t be offended. In fact, Lenny would rather not spend his cash on frivolous things. For instance, he has had the same smartphone for 5 years now and he has gotten ridiculed for having an iphone that is so old. But you know what? His iphone works perfectly great and does exactly what he needs it to do. Lenny can receive and make calls, he can receive and send messages, and he can also watch videos with no concerns. So, in his head, why would he spend his funds on a new iphone if he didn’t need to. If his iphone was giving complications, after that he would update it. Lenny uses that policy with the appliances and equipment in his home. For instance, when his Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician suggested that he update his Heating, Ventilation and A/C device because it was past the expiration date, Lenny chose to get a second opinion. At the time, there was nothing wrong with his 16-year-old Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit. There were no malfunctions or breakdowns, no electrical complications, no loss in efficiency, and there were no spikes in his energy consumption. Aside from the age of the unit, there was nothing wrong with it. And the second opinion from another licensed Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech confirmed this for him. So, until his Heating, Ventilation & A/C device shows signs of decline, Lenny will not update it because it is still functioning as efficiently as can be.
