They hoped the cooling system would be working when they got back
Jemma was trying to avoid the same mistake they made last year for Mother’s Day, when they decided to take their mom out for a late dinner.
Well, not only was the restaurant crowded, however there was also a band playing music.
This means the noise level was so overwhelming that they could barely hear themselves. So, most of the dinner was spent talking at the top of their voices. Later that evening, their throats felt scratchy from overusing their vocal cords from the afternoon. Well, since Mother’s Day is one of the busiest times of year for restaurants, Jemma decided to skip that idea this year. Instead, she tied up a spa day for her, her mom and her child Mia. Well, their appointment was for 10 a.m. and then afterwards, they planned a miniature boat cruise that traverses through one of the gorgeous sites in the neighborhood that they live in. Everything about this plan was full-proof, however it didn’t go over without a hitch. Of all the days, the cooling system inside the spa decided to fail. And unluckily, when they arrived at the spa, they were scrambling to try to get the cooling unit up and running. The owner was on the iphone with the HVAC business and was trying to get a service specialist to come out to the spa. It didn’t help that the temperature outside was 92 degrees, so without a/c, inside was going to feel like a heating system soon. They decided to reschedule the spa date for next week and did the boat cruise instead, which her mom thoroughly enjoyed. Jemma just hoped that the cooling system at the spa would be working great when they got back.
