Disagreement over the Thermostat

Whoever it was that wrote that book about men being from one planet and women being from a different one was certainly not far off.

I have noticed that men and women don’t do much of anything in a similar fashion.

Of course, that is a generality, and some women are different and some men are different, but for the most part men and women think differently, act differently, and care about different things. One thing that men and women always seem to disagree over is where to set the thermostat on the air-conditioning. If you have Central Heating and Cooling in your house, which most people in my neck of the woods do, you will soon discover that most couples simply have to come to some kind of agreement over where to set the heating and cooling thermostat. In general, women tend to be much colder than men do. There are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, women that are overweight There are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, women that are overweight tend to be warmer and want the thermostat set lower. Likewise, women who have reached menopause also want more AC than their husbands tend to want. When you start having hot flashes, you have what’s called built-in Heating oh, so you need the AC to do its job. Additionally pregnant women tend to want more air conditioning. In fact, when I was pregnant, I bought an additional air conditioning unit. I put a little window AC unit in my bedroom window so that I could sleep comfortably at night. My poor husband was wrapped up in about 10 blankets, but I just had one Thin covering.
