One Week Till Showtime plus I am Pretty Excited
I used to do about 13 shows a month back when I was doing standup comedy full time.
- I’ve left the pursuit plus haven’t been on stage properly for about three years now.
So it is pretty exciting to be going on again plus I like the feeling because I was getting quite jaded from consistently being on stage. At one point while performing in the Big peach I did 120 comedy shows in a two month period. They were only about 7 minutes for each set, but with comedy that is quite a bit of time on stage. The local company where I will be doing a show next week is a test to see if they like the show my fine friend and I do. If it goes well then my fine friend and I will try to make it a weekly thing, but it isn’t comedy anymore, instead it is music mixed with some storytelling. I like this club because they have a nice heating system in the place plus the winters here can get absolutely cold. I played a lot of volleyball this past Summer but now that winter time is coming I am going to shift gears plus play more music. You have to roll with the changes or it doesn’t go smoothly. Today I am installing an indoor air cleaning system in a club plus I am going to talk to the owners about possibly doing a show there too. I just want to find a fine cabin base where the artists plus myself can perform on a regular basis. I just need to have a place with a fine weather conditions control system.
