Upgrading to a smart temperature control
My temperature control was over twenty years old by the time I updated it; It never occurred to me to install a current temperature control; The seasoned component served its purpose. It was nothing more than a plastic dial that required manual adjustment. If I wanted to raise or lower the temperature of the dwelling during the middle of the night, I needed to get out of bed, walk down the stairs & turn the dial; When we updated our boiler & cooling system, the Heating and A/C business strongly commanded that we update the temperature control as well, but our current heating & cooling system provides zone control… My nice friend and I now have an independent temperature control in each room that allows customized settings. My nice friend and I aren’t forced to heat or cool empty rooms & can solve the concern of those areas that tend to be cold or overheated, plus, family members can personalize settings to preference. There is a main temperature control in the entryway that serves as the central hub. It is a smart temperature control that can be accessed through an app on my smartphone. If I want to make swings to the temperature in any of the rooms of the house, I can do it through my iphone from wherever I happen to be. Whether I’m at work, away on holiday or watching my son’s pigskin game, I can constantly check up on the house. The boiler also provides some easily convenient & helpful extra features. I get reminders when it’s time to change air filters or schedule annual repair. I get alerts if there’s a power outage & tips to improve energy savings.
