We went without our electric heating system
There is nothing worse than not having electricity in the winter.
Our heating runs on electric.
So if the power ever goes out then that means that our heating is going to go out to. Our electric went out just the other day. We had to find ways to make sure that we were staying warm. We couldn’t really figure out the best way to keep us warm. We really did not realize how much we depend on the heat until we did not have it anymore. That is what is amazing. You never really realize how much you rely on something until you don’t have it. Unfortunately we didn’t have heating for quite some time. There were a lot of people that were without power in our County. So we had to wait until our power was restored. I feel like we were one of the last ones to have our power restored. I think we went almost a whole week without heating. I could only imagine what was happening to our pipes into our entire house without having heating. Heating is not only good to have to make sure that you are warm but it is also good for your house. It helps make sure that your pipes do not freeze. It also helps to make sure that the foundation of your house stays in the best shape that it possibly can. If your house is exposed to harsh conditions the chances are that your house will wear a lot more than it would if you kept it in good condition with heating and cooling. So don’t ever take your HVAC system for granted.
