Living alone and setting the thermostat how you want
This is the first year that I have ever lived alone.
I am used to sharing a large house with about five or six other people. However, I am finally making good money at my job and can afford to live by myself. I know that it is going to be more expensive, but I am really ready to have a place all to myself. I feel like my house is always a chaotic mess and know I will finally have some peace and quiet. I think that I am really going to like living alone and never want to live with anyone else ever again. One thing that I didn’t realize I would enjoy was having the HVAC system all to myself. I no longer have to worry about my house being freezing cold because there are so many people running around all the time. I can put my thermostat to a normal temperature and not worry about anyone changing it while I am out of the house. I love that I can control everything in my house and the heating and cooling system was a perk that I didn’t even think about before having my own place. I also love that my food doesn’t magically go missing all the time. If I leave something somewhere it will be in the same spot when I get home. I really thought I would miss having roommates but so far, I don’t miss anything about it at all.
