Upgrading Heating & A/C in seasoned house

I live in an seasoned apartment and, despite its age, everything works exceptionally well.

We’ve had to do minimal repairs on the roof & have repainted a couple rooms but, for the most part, the apartment is in the same condition it was in when my friend and I first moved into it.

It has the most gorgeous hardwood flooring I’ve seen throughout most of the house, while the two bathrooms have tiled floors. There is a small balcony connecting to the master living room on the second floor, my room, & it’s so refreshing to take a book outside & read. I feel the largest change my friend and I made to the apartment was getting the air duct removed & replaced by our Heating & A/C supplier so my friend and I could replace to a newer, better Heating & A/C system. The house’s big size requires extra heating & cooling to respectfully maintain the temperature throughout the apartment for pretty much everyone, & the seasoned system costed us too much currency to do this. The initial cost of the new system was quite pricey but the energy efficiency will make up for it over the years. A immense bonus to the new system is that it has Heating & A/C zone-control so now my friend and I won’t waste energy or currency on rooms that are not in use. I cherish the aesthetic of the seasoned architecture, however I must admit that the new conveniences such as the Heating & A/C system are absolutely nice. We’ve noticed a wonderful improvement in the functionality of the a/c & furnace since getting the replace & the yearly bill reflects how much it has reduced our spendings. Everything is just about perfect know in our seasoned house.
