I was traveling north without cooling
The blowers were working, although I wasn’t getting any heat.
Living in the south means that most of the Winter is fairly mild… I seldom need to light the gas fireplace, & when I do, I always need to look at the instruction again. I have the fireplace cleaned every year, but that is only because of the sand & humidity, then just a small number of weeks ago, I had to travel north, then one of my relatives passed away, & I was going to the funeral. I had my oil & coolant evaluated, & the gas was filled, and the mechanic told myself and others I was safe for a long trip. The only thing I didn’t have evaluated was the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. I had been using the air conditioning often, & I knew it was working well. Unfortunately, I hadn’t been using the furnace. The further north I got, the chillier it was, & I finally had to turn on the heat, and when I turned it on, nothing happened. The blowers were working, although I wasn’t getting any heat. The air conditioning was stuck in the on position, and by the time I got to a repair station that inspected Heating as well as Air Conditioning systems, I was freezing. I could turn the Heating as well as Air Conditioning method off, although I was still without heat! Having the Heating as well as Air Conditioning method off was better than having the air conditioning blowing in my face when it was only 30 degrees outside… My only worry was how much it was going to cost myself and others to have the Heating as well as Air Conditioning method repaired. I called my sibling & told him I may be a bit late, & that I had to stop to have repairs made.
