I prayed I didn’t need a new gas furnace.
Last week, my natural gas furnace was running strenuously plus it ran for quite some time.
This week, I had to contact the Heating plus A/C corporation rep because it quit laboring altogether.
I could not know that the natural gas furnace broke when the winds were gusting at 60 MPH plus the temps were -6 degrees without a windchill. With the windchill, the weather forecaster said it was negative 30 degrees in some areas, plus ours was 1 of them. There was no way my pals and I could survive multiple nights of these brutal rapidly increasing temps if my pal and I didn’t have the natural gas furnace to keep us warm. My wife wasn’t upset about pipes cold because they were tightly wrapped in heat tape, plus buried underground, but I was upset about the cold. I was also praying they wouldn’t tell me I needed a new natural gas furnace when the Heating plus A/C corporation rep finally arrived. It took them many hours to arrive, plus my teens plus I were dressed like my pal and I were in the Arctic, then my associate and I were huddled under the blankets with an electric heating system I found in the attic, and no sooner did the Heating plus A/C tech show up plus repair the natural gas furnace, however the power went out. The morning kept getting worse, plus so was the cold. It was supposed to be -22 degrees later that evening, however at least the wind was supposed to die down a little. I wasn’t thrilled with the latest weather forecast, then our space heating system was electric, plus my wife told me to pack my bag. My associate and I were going to a luxury family resort for the next few nights, to pamper ourselves with a lot of heat.
