I was watching the big football game last weekend, plus cheering the house team on.
I could not know my number one team was heading to the Super Bowl once again.
I was shivering in the stands, however I was dressed in multiple layers. When I looked down at the squad, most of them had bare arms plus legs. It was snowing plus chilly, plus I wondered how they could still have bare skin exposed plus be walking around like it was a lovely Spring morning. I noticed that when some of the guys went off the field, they put coats on, however that’s when I also saw the small space heaters. It was my 1st time watching a game from the stands, plus I was seeing more than I had ever seen on TV. I was talking to my pal Ed who was at the game with me, plus I asked if she had seen the space heaters. Ed rolled her eyes plus simply said, no duh. Ed could not know I thought they would sit on the benches plus get stiff from the cold. Ed said the players needed the space heating systems or they would be too chilly to play correctly. All of their fingers would get stiff, their joints would get stiff, plus even their eyes could freeze. I thought Ed was full of it, but I didn’t question the reasons for the space heaters. I was thrilled they had them off the field. I should have noticed space heating systems when watching the game on television. Now that I know about them, I saw there was little snow near where the players sat.
