I’m so Pleased That I Became a Heating and A/C Worker
I’m so delighted that I became a heating and A/C worker instead of an architect.
I always used to know that I wanted to go to school to become an architect once I finished with school, and I had a complete plan for this.
My parents were both completely on board with my plan and they both supported me. They actually wanted me to become an architect also, and so that kind of played into my plans. I was always one of those people who wanted to please my parents, and so when they said I should go to architecture school I believed them. This plan went as well as could be expected, up until it didn’t. I did not even realize that I was interested in becoming a heating and A/C tech until a neighbor of mine told me that he was going to a local technical school to get his heating and A/C certification. When he told me about the classes and how long it was going to take him, I started researching it myself. It turned out that I was interested in becoming a heating and A/C rep myself. I thought that everything seemed interesting and I started to know that maybe it was the right transfer for me. It still had to do with constructing buildings, however it wasn’t going to cost me a fortune to go to school and it still seemed interesting to me. Now, years later, I am so delighted that I decided to go the heating and A/C worker route instead of the architecture route. I’m actually delighted with my job and with the heating and A/C company where I work. I’m grateful for my neighbor pointing me in this direction all those years ago.
