My electric furnace is such a wonderful thing
I ran into the same Italian-American girl this afternoon yet again.
I guess she is new in town and I keep seeing her here and there.
The only issue with talking with her is she speaks almost no English at all. I saw her this afternoon when I was going to go for a swim and spoke a bit to her in pigeon Spanish, but our Spanish is quite limited so there wasn’t much to say. This is the problem I have trying to meet a lady in this town, our Spanish is the same level as a more than two year old kid. The local AC contractor offers free classes in Spanish, despite the fact that I am so unmotivated to learn a new language that I keep putting it off and end up just resting at the lake house alone with our air cleaner keeping myself and others contractor. I guess it will reach a point where I am alone for so long that I either break down and learn the language, or just give up totally on trying to meet anyone or learn the language. I had our oil and gas furnace repaired the other afternoon and could hardly tell the HVAC tech what the problem was. I believe if I had something to motivate myself and others to learn the language I would do so, but so far I have just been putting it off for multiple years. I am going to turn on our radiant heated flooring now because our feet are so cold they are numb, and that is even with having them next to a small space heating system trying to warm them up a bit.
