Cooling down from the beach
Well, what was supposed to be a half hour bike ride turned into three hours of hanging out with my fam on the beach.
They aren’t literally my family but living so far from home these people are all the family I’ve got.
I was mainly hanging out watching the two on two volleyball games and chatting with my friends there on the beach, as I don’t really have the energy yet to play the intense sport. Most of these guys are seasoned players and the games are therefore no joke, so not having a lot of energy won’t work. Cooling down the body in the flat is now a necessity as I get back to my HVAC tech writing job for the next hour. Once I am done I will knock out my yoga and then my bandmate and I are going to play somewhere outside for a bit. We will play at this local business on the sea, or if it is taken, on the pier next to this climate controlled beach bar. We will bring the sound system and use it, but we can’t have the volume that high or the cops may stop us for the 200th time. The local contractor told us that it is legal to play music in the streets but when someone calls the cops they must come out and stop HVAC techs from playing. We haven’t had a problem on the pier though and I think it is a safe haven for us because it is too far from the houses for them to hear it.
