Having the heating technicians over for tea
I was dreaming that I was in a cabin in the mountains during winter with no form of heating or warm clothes.
I woke up and realized the room was cold. I tried cranking up the wireless thermostat, and the readings did not change. The electric heating system was on, but it was not warming the house. I fumbled with the electric HVAC manual and checked on the vents to confirm whether the HEPA filters were clean. After an hour, I gave up on my electric heat pump, opting for my space heater instead. I called and scheduled an appointment with the heating technician later that day. I was grateful for my space heater, which was handy then. The HVAC servicemen were on time for the appointment, and after running comprehensive heater maintenance, they restored the heat pump installation. The professional’s feedback was that the motor blower had an issue that caused the heating equipment to malfunction. They added that we had done a good thing by calling them for boiler repair as soon as we did. As they were cleaning their workspace, the rain came down hard. They could not drive in such weather, so I invited them for tea. As we drank the tea, they shared some energy-saving tips, which would later save us big bucks on our energy bill. The HVAC specialists were at my house for almost an hour when the rains reduced. They had finally restored my indoor comfort. For a minute there I was afraid I would start looking out for HVAC products for sale.
