It was time to put away the space heater for the season
Lorein finally packed up her space heating system and placed it inside her garage because she won’t need it again until later this year.

And that meant it was time to put away the space heating system for the season. Perhaps you’re wondering why Lorein has a space heater, especially since she has an Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit. Well, she uses a space heating system because Lorein doesn’t like using her central heating while in the colder months. While the central heating does make the condo sizzling and cozy, she prefers to avoid using it. The only time Lorein will turn on her central heating is when the temperature inside her home drops below 60 degrees. And that happens so infrequently that some years ago, she decided to get a space heating system for those colder nights. Not only can the space heating system provide the heat that she needs, however it also can save money on her energy bill. Lorein lives alone and instead of heating her house, she can use the space heating system in the rooms that she is in. So, if she is spending time in her family room and it’s too cold, Lorein can easily use the space heating system instead of her central heating. Plus in the evening, she turns on her space heating system inside her bedroom. When it gets to the ideal temperature, she turns it off before she goes to bed. Of course, if Lorein had roommates, youngsters, pets or a husband, this wouldn’t work as well. But if you’re single like she is and you live alone, she recommends ditching the Heating, Ventilation and A/C while in the winter season and using a space heating system instead.
