Annual boiler tune-up
I live in a legitimately chilly part of the country, then every year my buddy and I get bad snow storms. My family and I always try to plan holidays if my buddy and I have enough notice before a storm hits! During these storms my buddy and I normally have at least 10 inches of snow and it can be stressful trying to make sure everything around the house is prepared, that is why my buddy and I prefer to leave when my buddy and I can! However, this year my buddy and I didn’t have any notice before the snowstorm was coming, however the weather channel only offered us one afternoon to get ready and gather everything my buddy and I need. Everyone around neighborhood was going crazy and it was impossible to find any stores left with the things my buddy and I needed, like food and water. If I had know in advance, I would have also called our local Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C company to come out and service our boiler. My buddy and I have been fortunate to not have our boiler go out on us during a storm, but many of our friends have not been as fortunate. I know many people that have had their boiler stop working during a storm and they are left to freeze in their home. They run out of wood suddenly for their fireplace and just have to kneel in their chilly house until the roads are clear and the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C company can come out and repair their boiler! I entirely hope that doesn’t happen to us this year because my buddy and I weren’t prepared enough for the storm and weren’t able to have our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C company service our boiler.
