We always have low humidity with her heat pump
Occasionally, I just wish it could stay on vacation, and it’s not exactly all the 2tmas stuff that I mean; no, instead it’s more the weather that we appreciate around this time of year! Folks up north are dealing with hot and cold temperatures that plunge near zero, my heat pump barely even needs to come on.
I live in a region where there is not a need for a gas furnace or a boiler in order to stay alive during winter.
I cannot imagine what it must be like right now for the folks up north when we are going to have a weekend that is well below zero for them. It will absolutely be a bit chilly here over on vacation and the heat pump might even kick on for some heating; but our heat pump is entirely pretty quiet this time of year as the weather is just about perfect. And that’s why I had love for it to be this way all year round… Of course, that’s not ever going to be the case and before long, the heat pump will be running night and day, however while we do not have to deal with much heating demand due to our mild winter, the summer time is a blazing boiling heat. Our hot and cold temperatures are consistently in the eighties by March. And by June, those hot and cold temperatures are closer to the hundred degree mark. But the real kicker is the humidity. We’re just lucky that the heat pump can take care of both the heat and humidity. Of course, the heat pump provides the a/c that we need in order to manage when it gets hot. But the heat pump cooling process also balances the humidity level in our condo so we do not deal with a bunch of mold and mildew. That’s simply a fantastic and important bonus.
