Can’t imagine life without any cooling
I cannot even imagine the amount of cleaning one would have to do if there wasn’t a/c, but extreme heat and humidity are exactly what mold and mildew need to thrive
Even though all of us are enjoying the best weather of the year, I still can’t help however suppose about the coming heat and humidity. It won’t be long before those twins are playing havoc with our lives. If you want to live down here and prefer some of the best weather for more than half the year, you have to deal with summer. The heat and humidity actually come down about the first week of June. And that level of heat and humidity continues all the way through September. There are even weeks into October where it’s still actually hot. So when I am enjoying highs in the upper sixties and all the sun I can stand, I still suppose about the summer. Sometimes I wonder what it must have been love for our ancestors to live through our summers without residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C. I simply cannot imagine having to live without a/c. I am a native of the section so I may use less a/c than say someone who had moved down here from the north. But I still have to have that cooling comfort to get through the summer. Otherwise, I suppose I would just be a sweaty mess. But I do suppose about folks love our father who did not have residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C when he was growing up. So apparently, it can be done although I doubt there are numerous homes around here that don’t come with all kinds of a/c. For one thing, the a/c mitigates mold and mildew in our homes. I cannot even imagine the amount of cleaning one would have to do if there wasn’t a/c, but extreme heat and humidity are exactly what mold and mildew need to thrive. So again, all of us have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to a/c and our heat pump.
