I could feel the wind blowing through the house.

When he sat in my set at the dinner table, he could feel the cold draft over his back.

My husband thought I was crazy when I sat at the dinner table and was always cold. He had the fireplace burning and the furnace was working well, but I was always cold. I could feel draft going across my back, and it was causing some painful complications. My husband thought it was just my arthritis acting, which I was sure he was right, but it was being complicated by the cold draft. I offered to let him sit in my chair, and to go back into my computer room. He bought a space heater for my office, and as he was setting it up, he noticed there was a cold draft coming through the window. He looked at me and asked if we hadn’t changed that window out last year. I pointed to the window in front of the computer screen and told him it was that window. I remembered because we got glass that had the cross sections running through to look like a four-paned window. He stood by the window and shivered, then he set the thermostat on the space heater higher. When he sat in my set at the dinner table, he could feel the cold draft over his back. He was sure it was coming from the window in my computer room. He apologized and said he would replace the window as soon as it got warmer. For now, I should turn up the thermostat on the space heater, and he would sit in my seat at the table. I knew I had a good reason for marrying him.
