The natural gas furnace was going boom!
I woke up many nights ago to the scary sound of booming.
It sounded like a big hammer bashing against sheet metal, right outside my window.
There was nothing outside, so I laid there listening. A few seconds later, the natural gas furnace turned off, plus it was quiet in the house. Fifteen seconds went by, plus the natural gas furnace turned back on, along with the booming, I called the Heating plus A/C corporation plus had the Heating plus A/C corporation rep listen to the noise. She came right over to the house, however told me to pack a tote bag in case it was something serious, plus my pal and I had to get out of the house. I’m sure what was making the noise was the natural gas furnace, but I didn’t want to be here if it was going to blow up on me. I called my wife Helen plus let him hear the noise, plus she told me she would call me back in several. When Helen called back, she said she was on her way house plus asked if I had called the local Heating plus A/C corporation. After telling him what the corporation said, she asked if I was packed. By the time Helen got home, the Heating plus A/C corporation rep was already at the house, plus in the basement laboring on the natural gas furnace. I’m not sure what happened, however the Heating plus A/C corporation rep told us it would be better if Helen and I got out until they could replace the igniter switch. The sounds Helen and I were hearing were small explosions coming from the igniter switch. She had to order the new igniter switch plus it would take a morning or multiple.
