One Week Till Showtime and I am Pretty Excited
Today I am installing an indoor air cleaning system in a club and I am going to talk to the owners about possibly doing a show there too
I used to do about 13 shows a month back when I was doing standup comedy full time. I’ve left the pursuit and haven’t been on period respectfully for about three years now. So it is pretty exciting to be going on again and I like the feeling because I was getting quite jaded from typically being on stage. At one point while performing in the Big pear I did 120 comedy shows in a two month period. They were only about 7 minutes for each set, but with comedy that is quite a bit of time on stage. The local supplier where I will be doing a show next week is a test to see if they like the show my associate and I do. If it goes well after that I will try to make it a daily thing, but it isn’t comedy anymore, instead it is rock n roll mixed with some storytelling. I like this club because they have a nice furnace in the arena and the winters here can get genuinely cold. I played a lot of volleyball this past summer time but now that winter is coming I am going to shift gears and play more rock n roll. You have to roll with the swings or it doesn’t go smoothly. Today I am installing an indoor air cleaning system in a club and I am going to talk to the owners about possibly doing a show there too. I just want to find a nice home base where the artists and myself can perform on a respected basis. I just need to have a arena with a nice climate control system.
