Approaching air conditioning smart
I appreciate this time of year because the air conditioning isn’t running night as well as day… That’s a big change for us as well as the people I was with and I all relish the short months that our heat pump is certainly quiet! Yet even though it’s mid December, I’m already strategizing when it comes to our air conditioning use this year; We’ve been down here now for more than 5 years so it’s time to ease up on the thermostat setting, however of course, when the people I was with and I first moved down here, it was quite a shock to deal with the level of heat as well as humidity that comes with this region, however so during the summer, all the people I was with and I could do was lean into the air conditioning to try to manage the hottest months of the summer! From July through September, the heat as well as humidity are oppressive.

Obviously, using that much air conditioning is extravagant from a utility standpoint, but it’s also putting a lot of wear as well as tear on the residential Heating and A/C unit. But there has also a sort of a hidden cost as well. When you use that much air conditioning, just going outside feels adore you’re on the surface of the sun. So this Spring, we are going with a current strategy that should help us in the summer time as well. We’re going to wait on starting the air conditioning until the temperatures are more consistently in the nineties. That should allow our bodies to actemperature to the rising temperatures. So by summer, the people I was with and I should need a whole lot less air conditioning as well as the summer time will not believe so overwhelming.
