A reliable cooling system is important during the hot summer months
It’s raining today and my girlfriend and I are at a camping site with some friends.
Since there’s not much we can do, I decided to take the opportunity to make progress with my online work, while my girlfriend, who was feeling bored and depressed this morning because she didn’t know what to do with her life, has decided to learn how to play the djembe.
She now seems to be a lot happier, and I’m happy for her. The problem is that it’s hard for me to concentrate on my work with that racket going on in the background. The HVAC contractor I work for is getting ready for the summer season, which is just around the corner, and we need to ensure that countless individuals have their cooling systems serviced. I know how important this is, since last summer we had an awful time. What happened was that our air conditioner stopped working at the height of the summer heat. We only barely managed to survive thanks to our neighbor, who had a good-quality mini split air conditioner and a pool in his backyard. We often spent almost the whole day at his house, and at night we would swim in his pool and dry ourselves by the electric fireplace when we came out. Now, as I make progress with my work for the HVAC company, the rain shows no signs of stopping, so I guess I’ll just continue to work inside the climate-controlled cafe at the camping site we are staying at while my girlfriend continues to pound that darn djembe.
