My sibling finally has financial independence after becoming an HVAC serviceman

I watched my sibling go through years of ups & downs before he finally made the decision to start going to technical university.

For a few years he was homeless living life as a drug addict.

But after going to rehab & getting clean, he hasn’t used any substances in over three years. I’m proud to see the changes my sibling has made to his life, especially after he made the executive decision to attend trade university to get a wonderful career that would last him his entire life. All of us in the family were supportive of this transport from the start because our father & uncle both went to trade university & became an electrician & a plumber respectively. My sibling’s original plan was to pursue cooking & be a chef for a massive restaurant, even though he quickly found the thought of doing food service to be too stressful. His teacher was smart & told him to toil a part time task as a dishwasher in a tied up dining room to get a feel for the toil environment, & that was the only thing he needed to make the decision for him. Instead of cooking, he went into the heating & cooling industry instead. His trade university had a program where he could learn both residential & commercial HVAC at the same exact time, giving him a higher choice of getting hired upon graduating. Now he works for a massive plumbing & HVAC contractor as an replacement serviceman & gets paid enough money to make him honestly financially independent for the first time in his life.
